The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola
For men: February 24-26, 2012
For women: June 1-3, 2012
The Spiritual Exercises are a weekend silent retreat with spiritual talks and time for personal meditation. The spiritual conferences are preached by the priests of Miles Christi (http://www.mileschristi.org), according to the method and the principles of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Apart from the conferences and time for prayer, each day there will also be Holy Mass, Holy Rosary, and opportunity for confessions. The retreat will start on Friday at 4:00 pm and conclude on Sunday at 4:30 pm. As experience has shown throughout the centuries, the Spiritual Exercises have proven to be an excellent means of conversion and sanctification. In addition, the Magisterium of the Church has commended them numerous times. Price: $120 for double occupancy room; $135 for private room. 2012 RCIA Retreat.* This one-day retreat will be presented on Saturday, March 24, 2012 and on Saturday, March 31, 2012, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The retreat will provide a review of the Sacraments of Initiation with particular reference to the celebration of these Sacraments at the Easter Vigil and to living out these Sacraments within the context of the daily life of a Catholic. There will be four presentations followed by times for personal reflection. Three of the talks will be enhanced with Powerpoint presentations. "Going Forth" one-day retreat for high school seniors preparing for college *, Saturday, May 12, 2012 – 9:00 am to 2:15 pm. This program helps prepare young men and women for the moral and spiritual challenges of college life. The Scripture theme verse is: "Be awake to all the dangers; stay firm in the faith; be brave and be strong. Let everything you do be done in love" (1 Corinthians 16:13–14, Jerusalem Bible).
