A Place to Draw Closer to God

Gilmary maintains an atmosphere conducive to prayer. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the chapel which is open daily for visitation and prayer. Sixty-seven wooded acres help guests to contemplate the wonders of creation. Religious artwork elevates the spirit and the mind.

A Place for Catholic Youth and Families

Gilmary fulfills it’s primary mission of supporting Catholic youth and families through a variety of age appropriate programs, events, retreats, and days of recollection.

A Place for Learning

Gilmary’s school and gym are available to Catholic schools and home school groups for special events, lectures, and learning opportunities. Gilmary also hosts well-known Catholic speakers on timely topics.

A Place for Sharing and Serving

The gospel call to serve others is an integral part of the Gilmary experience. Whether performing landscape work to beautify the property or serving as a volunteer at summer camp or other programs, youth have the opportunity to share their gifts and talents with others.

A Place for a Retreat or Day of Recollection

Gilmary hosts a variety of retreats and days of recollection that are presented by outside groups. Examples include: Confirmation retreats, Marriage Encounter weekend, Retrouvaille, Beginning Experience, and Engaged Encounter, among others. Gilmary also provides retreats and days of recollection that are presented by Gilmary’s administration.
